HAZARDS

 

The Video on Kezia Liz Mejo winning Miss India Universe 2026 was forwarded to a close friend, a Pastor.  His Church has a universal presence.   

A few lines were inserted.l

The family is in Abu Dhabi.

Look at what one can achieve even if you are from a village sans the paraphernalia of a major city or a developed locality.

(The inference was, they had relinquished the crowns they won due to circumstances they disfavoured)

I replied:

"Hazards. 

Remember the Church has been confronted with hazards for years together.

Like the prophets we cry out, "Oh! God. Don't you see this?" "Where are you?" "Why do you remain silent?"  "Are you still there?" "Don't you have concern for your people?" "Why do you let the evil doers enjoy a free run?"

" It seems the answer is at the conclusion  of 'Tess of the D'Urbervilles' by Thomas Hardy.

" We could see something like, "Mortals are mere playthings for the Gods."

But we don't have to give up.

History tells us evil never reigns forever.
