IT'S 48 YEARS SINCE MUMMY LEFT US

 It's 4.20pm now. 30thMay2026

48 years ago Mummy left us on this day at 4pm. Papa and Leela were there. 

When we reached home at 6.40pm, it was all over.

The four of us could only cry. We were inconsolable.

The loss was immense.

It was the worst day in our life.

Our placid life had been broken up early on 14August1977. The excruciating head ache had led us through inexorable suffering and pain watching her fade away silently.

And what she went through she never deserved. 

Simple soul, she knew only to pour love upon us. She had struggled quietly. The period from 31st Jan 1975 to 30May1978 had been very unkind to her. 

We just couldn't give her the happiness that she had longed for and prayed for..
