                                     STUNNING VIEWS FROM ANANTYA BY THE LAKE

We were at the Resort, ANANTYA BY THE LAKE.

Just like its name the Resort is by the Lake.

It is  Chittar Lake.

Nostalgia caught me up.

I had grown up in Munnar.  Wherever we turned there were dams and their lakes. The Catchment area was vast. It's a sight that would never fade from memory.

Here, it was a similar experience. I stood there gazing. Like a bonus, we had the receding Western Ghats staring at us. The Blue hues mesmerised us. The placid water extended across a wide area. The straight lines on the hills submerged in the Catchment area revealed that the storage was depleting.

For me,  it was the past coming alive in the present.
