FUSHIMI INARI SHRINE WITH 10000 STEPS

Anoop writes from Japan today the 14thMay2026

He did call me at 5.29 pm. As I was driving to pick up Evana from the Falcon Badminton Academy, I asked Lila to take the call. Somehow the call was disconnected.

Later he posted a message:

"Pappa

Tried calling you

Today We visited Todaji  Temple and Nara Deerpark where we touched and patted live deers

Subsequently we visited Fushimi Inari Shrine where we climbed 200 steps and the total steps were 10000

Then we visited Kinkako G Temple

Also visited bamboo forest

Our guide Jimmy was one of the best guides we have ever had

So helpful so friendly and he took us to a mini shopping street as we had enough time in.Kyoto

Tomorrow early morning at 8.30 we are going to Hiroshima by Shinkansen Bullet train

Going to sleep as we are tired from the long journey we had today"

When I saw the message I thought it would be better not to disturb them from sleep. But I posted a reply.

"Happy you had a wonderful day today.

10000 steps. Beats me.

Clearing 200 is an achievement by itself.

When you called, we were going to pick up Evana. Gudugudu Road.

Lila took the call as I was driving.

She said she couldn’t hear anything.

Sad I missed your call and voice.

Tomorrow, friday, again we'd go to pick up Evana. 5.30 pm is her winding up time. We leave after 5pm or at 5.15pm

Back by 6pm"
