HAPPY THE GREY MATTER IS NOT IN THE GREYING MODE

Our close friend at CSI Christ Church, Palayam, Trivandrum was requested by the senior members of the Church to speak on the composition of the 66 Books in the Bible and the Apocripha. He prepared his discourse in English, where he was well conversant. However, though his Malayalam was good, he didn't have the opportunity to express himself in his mother tongue while he had been on his job, as his career had taken him away from Kerala most of the time.

The elderly were insistent the discourse had to be in Malayalam. 

He complied. 

Then he had forwarded to me  the content in both English and Malayalam.

It was a pleasant surprise.

Both the transcripts were superb in quality. 

I commended him for the excellent effort.

Translation to Malayalam on public demand was tough for me"

How could you garner the voluminous data in English first?"

"These are some of the Books and literature available to me termed as APOCRIPHA and PSEUDO EPIGRAPH writings during the 400 year Silent Period between the Old and New Testament Period and detailed studies on the above works are not given importance by the Protestant Churches

The Study and time line of the New Testament Period cannot but desert the above works followed by other denominations and churches of the Chrysendom "

"I did lot of reading and research from books collected from many persons including Mariam Kochamma whom I visit often and mr.K.S.Simon for Apocripha literature

A fine book I saw yesterday written by Rev.K.John ,prof of old testament in KUTS when I was a boy ,yesterday on the Silent Period of the Bible is yet to be read

I read on varied subjects.,recently concentrating on old mal.fiction 5 books each time from Public Library,which are exchanged every week on Tuesdays when I go to Sowhrdom for Thankam"
