Mohammed Siraj, son of an autoriksha driver at Hyderabad, walked into the Indian Cricket team due to his sheer brilliance in pace bowling. He has performed very well for India in a number of critical junctures. He had been able to turn the game in India's favour on several occasions when the opponents were gaining the upper hand.
But he reveals he was pained when the trolls went against him whenever he performed poorly.
He does not resent the criticism for poor performance.
But the trolls often were on his anticidence. The trolls were taunting him to go back and drive the autoriksha like his father. It plainly meant he was a good for nothing. It also meant an autoriksha driver should never aspire to play cricket and walk into the hallowed precincts of the Indian Cricket team.
Siraj said he ignored the unjust criticism and it exactly had been what his father had taught him:
"My dad taught me what hard work truly means -- keeping your head down, pushing through, and ignoring the noise."
True, Siraj's father lives through his son today.
