SCENARIO

Prologue

It's almost 25 years since I read 'The Third Wave' by Alvin Toffler. 

It is a graphic narration of the evolution of human beings from the early stages to what we observe today. 

I regularly attend Worships in my Church. 

At times I have the feeling Alvin Toffler has hit the nail on the head.

I composed this poem after a Worship I partook.

SCENARIO

 English or Malayalam 

Matins or HE

We'd ensure 

You'll be held

For two to

Two and a half 

Hours

We have 

The machinery 

For that.

Faith is 

The time 

You are

Made to

Sit 

Through.

No questions 

Please

If you dare

You'd be

Branded

An

Unbeliever.

Epilogue

English or Malayalam  - The two languages in which Worships are conducted in the Church

Matins      -  Worship where Holy Eucharist  or Holy Communion or Qurbana is not celebrated

HE            -  Worship where Holy Eucharist is celebrated
