SHADES OF RED FORT IN THE BACKGROUND
KUZHIPALLAM BOTANICAL GARDENChildren are the greatest gifts from God. They bring smiles to our lives. They learn from us. They depend on us. We learn from them. We relive our childhood as we watch them grow. They light up our lives. We live for them.We are their role models. They are there when we are in need. They are special. They are priceless.
We were at Anantya By The Lake.
We just couldn't believe such a scenery existed very close to Trivandrum.
The Lake, the Lawn and the tapering Western Ghats took us to the the high mountains and valleys we had been to earlier.
Wordsworth's lines resonated.
THREE HAPPY GIRLS AND A YOUNG MAN
We were on a tour of scenic spots.
The group vibed well.
The ladies took it as an opportunity to know more about each other.
We could see they were developing a bond. The youngest held the hand of the eldest when we negotiated difficult terrains.
They were in a world of their own.
We caught them together in front of the Bonsai tree.
The young man is the son of one.
A MEMORABLE DAY BEGAN HERE
ON THE 5th OF MAY 2026
We had been planning a visit to locations we had not been to earlier.
We set off in the morning of 5thMay2026.
Sreekanth, who drove proved himself to be an excellent driver. He drove the whole day without blemish. He never erred in navigating the confounding turns on the road.
We told him, if he couldn't become anything else, driving ought to be his No.1 option.
WAITING FOR LUNCH AT ANANTYA BY THE LAKE THREE SIMILAR VIEWS
We had to wait as they prepared the food on order alone.
Finally, when it came, it was marvellous.
We had Chicken Corn Soup, Chicken Lollipop, Scheswan Prawn Noodles, Parotta and Chilly Chcken. It was topped off by cold lemon juice with mint.
We relished it. We devoured it without leaving out anything.
The Resort has an excellent Chef in Mr. Nitish.
The food exemplified it.
GARDEN AT ANANTYA BY THE LAKE
We had set off on our journey at 8.00 am on the 5th May 2026. It took us to Thripparappu and Mathoor. Though we enjoyed the visits and had a good time, it was strenuous too. Hunger had made its mark. But we had to reach the Resort, Anantya By The Lake, where we had reserved our table for Lunch through the Chef, Mr.Nitish. It seemed a never ending journey. At last we reached the resort at 1.45 pm. We were stopped at the gate. The security personnel directed us to the reception. They confirmed the booking and requested us to proceed to the dining hall. We took the well maintained earthen road to the destination. As we trode on we had a glance at the well kept garden.
The table was waiting for us.
Lunch over, we sauntered to the parking lot. However, we took our own time over it. The children took to the bicycles kept for them. A few of us took advantage of the Vollyball and Basketball Courts. Later, we explored the garden we had noticed earlier. It covered a vast area. It was a wonderful opportunity. The garden, the plants, the flowers, the trees and the lawns revealed to us the commitment of the Resort to ecological concerns.
It was a treat to the eyes and what engaged them are presented here:
